Teaching Personnel is working with a lovely, welcoming school to recruit an enthusiastic Science & Maths Teacher for a part-time role, starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys inspiring young people across both Science and Mathematics. The successful candidate will work 2 days per week (Thursdays and Fridays), delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils develop confidence and curiosity in both subjects.

The Role

Part-Time Science & Maths Teacher
2 days per week – Thursdays and Fridays
September start
Paid to scale (M1–M6, dependent on experience)
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science and Maths lessons
Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support high-quality teaching and learning
Contribute to maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour
We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or has relevant teaching experience
Has experience teaching Science and/or Maths
Is confident delivering engaging lessons that motivate and challenge pupils
Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Is organised, adaptable, and enthusiastic
Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
Is committed to achieving the very best outcomes for all learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
