Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Department in leading and developing the Maths curriculum across all key stages, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

• Assist with departmental planning, data analysis, and interventions to drive student progress and attainment.

• Mentor and support colleagues within the department, contributing to their professional development.

• Deliver consistently outstanding Maths lessons, inspiring students through a passion for the subject and a commitment to academic excellence.

• Play a key role in whole-school initiatives and help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A degree in Mathematics or a related field

• Proven track record of excellent classroom teaching and raising achievement

• Leadership experience within a Maths department or clear readiness for a leadership role

• Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
