Pay : £31,650 - £49,084

I am looking for a dedicated and confident Maths Teacher to teach in a secondary school in the Cirencester area. You will uphold high quality teaching across KS3 and KS4 and KS5. There should be a strong focus on raising attainment and creating a positive , structured learning environment of all abilities in teaching the curriculum

The role starts in September and is permanent.You should be delivering well planned and inspiring lessons that support the progress of students mathematics. Also to develop problem solving and logical thinking skills. Teachers should be able to adapt teaching materials to suit mixed ability classes.

Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver Math lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Encourage participation in classes.

• Foster an exciting and secure environment of learning.

• Monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly

• Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider staff.

Requirements :

• QTS

• Passion for the development of Maths skills for students

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Experience working in secondary schools

• Strong subject knowledge and lesson delivery skills.

• Effective classroom and behaviour management

• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
