Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a supportive secondary school?

We are working in partnership with a Good-rated secondary school in Perry Barr, Birmingham, to recruit a talented Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting at the beginning of the new academic year in September 2026.

The school is seeking an experienced Maths Teacher who can inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4. However, applications from motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also warmly welcomed, as the school has a strong reputation for supporting and developing teaching talent. For the right candidate, this role could progress into a permanent position.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

* Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

* Plan, prepare and assess students' work in line with the national curriculum

* Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback

* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

* Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement

* Contribute to the wider life of the Maths department and school community

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Have experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting

* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics

* Be committed to raising attainment and student achievement

* Possess excellent classroom management skills

* Have a positive, proactive and professional approach
