Maths Teacher | Barnet | Forward-Thinking Independent School

A welcoming Independent School in Barnet requires a flexible and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join them on a temporary, part-time basis, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Maths Teacher to make an immediate impact, teaching Maths to Key Stages 3 and 4 for a few days per week. The successful Maths Teacher will be able to deliver engaging lessons and support student learning within our Independent School environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 on a part-time schedule.


• Support students in their understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback as required.


• Collaborate with the Maths department on curriculum and resource development within our Independent School.


• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics.


• Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.


• Good communication and organizational skills.


• Ability to work flexibly on a part-time basis.
