Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum guidelines


• Use a variety of teaching techniques to cater to different learning styles and abilities


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote their achievement


• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning


• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance and assessment data


• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to discuss student progress and address any concerns

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Maths education


• Proven experience teaching Maths in a primary or secondary school setting


• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to effectively impart this knowledge to students


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues


• Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives


• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities


• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons
