About the Role

An Independent secondary school in Islington seeks a skilled Maths Teacher to join their mathematics department from September. The role involves teaching mathematics at GCSE and A-Level, preparing students for examinations, and fostering a love of mathematics. We are looking for a skilled Maths Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging mathematics lessons at GCSE and A-Level.


• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.


• Develop students' mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum. We require a Maths Teacher who can perform these tasks.


• Organise and lead extracurricular activities related to mathematics.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics.


• Proven experience in teaching mathematics at secondary level.


• Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills. We need an experienced Maths Teacher for this position.
