About the Maths Teacher Role

We are seeking an exceptional Maths Teacher to join our dedicated and passionate Mathematics department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Maths across Key Stages 3-5, inspiring a love of learning and fostering academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities of the Maths Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons that cater to a range of learning styles.


• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to take risks and achieve their full potential in Maths.


• Assess and monitor student progress in Maths, providing constructive feedback and support.


• Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental resources.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Maths teaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.


• Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.


• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Maths.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
