Role Highlights:

• Teach Maths to small classes of students with a range of special educational needs


• Develop and deliver differentiated Maths lessons, ensuring all students are appropriately challenged

• Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)


• Track student progress, assess learning outcomes, and adjust teaching strategies as needed


• Provide personalised support to students with learning difficulties, focusing on both academic progress and personal growth

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


• Experience teaching Maths, ideally in a special educational needs (SEN) setting


• Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and differentiation techniques


• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to teaching students with diverse needs


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, staff, and parents


• Enhanced DBS check required
