CORE PURPOSE

We require an ambitious, intellectually rigorous Maths Teacher to deliver high-quality mathematics instruction across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The role involves facilitating a challenging, concepts-first academic curriculum that deepens logical reasoning, numerical fluency, and abstract problem-solving, preparing pupils thoroughly for terminal public examinations and future analytical pathways.

KEY TASKS & DAILY OPERATIONS

• Curriculum Design & Instruction: Plan, resource, and deliver highly structured, evidence-based mathematics lessons that challenge pupils across all technical and academic abilities.

• Mathematical Reasoning Expansion: Foster deep conceptual understanding by guiding pupils systematically through algebraic abstractions, geometric proofs, and complex statistical analysis.

• Academic Progress Monitoring: Implement rigorous formative and summative assessment routines, utilising pupil tracking data to design sharp, targeted interventions that bridge learning gaps.

• Examination Preparation: Guide Key Stage 4 cohorts systematically through the demands of terminal GCSE Mathematics specifications, maximising progress and attainment outcomes for all learners.

• Pastoral Care Integration: Undertake full form tutor responsibilities, managing daily registration, monitoring pupil attendance, and delivering the school's structured personal development units.
