We are recruiting for an experienced and resilient Maths Teacher on behalf of a specialist school in Wandsworth. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a difference to some of the most vulnerable young people in education.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons tailored to the needs of pupils
Build positive, trusting relationships with students who may have experienced trauma, exclusion or significant barriers to learning
Work closely with SENCOs, support staff and external agencies to provide a consistent, structured approach
Adapt your teaching style to meet a wide range of emotional and academic needs
Contribute to a calm, safe and supportive school environment
Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parentsWhat We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
Previous experience in an SEMH, PRU, SEN or alternative provision setting - desirable
Calm, patient, and resilient with a genuine commitment to inclusive education
Strong behaviour management skills with a trauma-informed approach
A team player who thrives in a close-knit, supportive staff environmentWhat's On Offer
