GCSE Preparation: Prepare Year 11 classes for both Foundation and Higher GCSE papers, tracking progress and addressing learning gaps.
Differentiated Support: Adapt resources and provide structured scaffolding to ensure accessibility for SEND pupils while challenging higher attainers.
Form Tutor Duties: Take responsibility for a tutor group, managing registration, daily routines, and parent contact.
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline.
Experience: Open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a track record of stable progress metrics.
Skills: Clear communication, strong classroom management, and an approachable manner.
Local Area & Community: Based in the coastal city of Southampton, the school serves a diverse and growing local population. The area offers a historic maritime heritage, vibrant city centre amenities, beautiful nearby spaces like the New Forest, and a highly supportive network of local families.
Transport & Commuting: The school benefits from excellent regional transport infrastructure, with straightforward road access via the M27 and M3 corridors. Public transit networks operate continuously via comprehensive local bus routes, while Southampton Central Railway Station provides frequent, high-speed services to Portsmouth, Winchester, Bournemouth, and London Waterloo, making it highly accessible for commuting professionals across Hampshire.
