MDU Build Inspector

We are recruiting for an MDU Build Inspector to join their business on a FTC of up to 18 months, across Dublin and the surrounding areas, to be responsible for the for day to day liaison with MDU build partners to ensure our MDU targets are delivered and in line with the MDU build program schedule.

The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive day rate of €200 pending relevant experience, paid weekly.

To be considered you must have demonstrable supervisory experience in the construction/telecoms/cable industry with a successful track record of effectively delivering results through others within tight timelines and to a consistently high standard.

MDU Build Inspector main duties:

• Responsibility for day-to-day liaison with our MDU build partners to ensure our MDU targets are delivered and in line with the MDU build program schedule
• Be a point of contact for, and resolve designated construction issues with the VM MDU team
• Tracking build progress and report
• Attending weekly progress meetings with MDU build partners and VM MDU team
• Ensure all MDU network is built to specifications.
• Liaise with our Quality Audit teams to ensure the timely delivery of completed units- maintain the throughput of completed projects through the quality audit channel
• Reporting to Virgin Media MDU Build Supervisor
• Liaison with VM and Design partners to ensure optimum design efficiency
• Sample check completed network build MDU’s to ensure full compliance

MDU Build Inspector required skills and experience:

• Demonstrable supervisory experience in the construction/telecoms/cable industry
• Minimum 5 years previous construction organisational experience preferably within the Telecoms Industry
• Track record of effectively delivering results through others within tight timelines and to a consistently high standard
• Demonstrable previous experience of supervising outsourced contractor activities
• Exceptional communication, influencing, negotiation and report writing skills.
• IT literate in MS Office applications
• Proven ability to influence effectively at all levels within the business
• Full + Clean driving License
