Job Description - Mechanic

Job Description

SALARY: £28k pa and higher

HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday

LOCATION: Oxted

Due to continued success the company is recruiting a Mechanic to join the business on a full-time based. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to work in a modern workshop.

Duties Include (not limited to):

To carry out the servicing, repair and inspection of customer and Company vehicles as instructed.
To diagnose vehicle faults.
To operate according to technical literature and the Service Procedure Manual where necessary, as well as using skill and experience.
To comply with Warranty Procedures as laid down in the Service Procedure Manual.
To ensure customers’ vehicles are kept secure and clean at all times.
To support and implement the Company’s Quality System and carry out the responsibilities documented in the relevant procedure manuals.
To maintain a neat personal appearance.
Other duties as required

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience in MOT testing is highly advantageous.

Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Full UK driving Licence is preferred.

Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.

Good communication skills.

Be able to adhere to all health and safety.
