Job Description - Mechanic / MOT Tester

Job Description

SALARY: £30k pa and higher

HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday

LOCATION: South Godstone

Due to continued success the company is recruiting a Mechanic/MOT Tester to join the business on a full-time based. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to work in a modern workshop.

Duties Include (not limited to):

Carrying out routine servicing & vehicle health checks.

Undertaking various repairs, from minor maintenance to major/in depth work.

Diagnosing and fault finding with the latest equipment.

Air conditioning recharge, wheel alignment all part of the repertoire that the garage offers.

Ensuring high standard of work and maximum efficiency.

Continually review own performance and business practices in order to identify areas for improvement.

Other duties as and when required.

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience in MOT testing is highly advantageous.

Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Full UK driving Licence is preferred.

Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.

Good communication skills.

Be able to adhere to all health and safety.
