We are seeking a multi-skilled engineer to carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, fault finding, and inspections across a variety of mechanical equipment and systems. Whilst previous LPG experience is beneficial, it is not essential. Candidates with Domestic Gas qualifications or experience are particularly encouraged to apply, as these skills provide an excellent foundation for full LPG training and development.

This is a truly multi-skilled engineering position, combining elements of:
Mechanical engineering LPG systems Hydraulics Electrical fault finding Welding and fabrication Marine engineering Field service and breakdown supportYou'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant, and operational.

As part of the role, you will also support marine customers by carrying out:
Narrow boat and cruiser servicing and repairs Engine replacements Welding and over-plating repairs Electrical, water, and heating system repairs Breakdown attendance and fault diagnosis Boat Safety Scheme inspections On-site repairs and maintenanceAbout You
You could come from a variety of backgrounds, including:
Domestic Gas Engineer Commercial Gas Engineer LPG Engineer Plant Fitter Forklift Engineer Agricultural Engineer Field Service Engineer Marine Engineer Mechanical Maintenance EngineerCandidates with Gas Safe Domestic qualifications are particularly of interest, as these skills can be transferred into LPG engineering through specialist training.
