Mechanical and Electrical Assembler

We are currently looking for a Production & Assembly Operative to join a busy production team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right person.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical and/or electrical background.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly of products/components.

* Use a range of hand and basic power tools.

* Follow assembly instructions, drawings and processes.

* Carry out basic testing and quality checks.

* Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

* Work as part of a wider production team to meet deadlines.

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in a production, assembly, manufacturing or engineering environment.

* Good mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on skills.

* Basic electrical/electronic knowledge would be advantageous.

* Comfortable using hand tools and equipment.

* Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.

* Good attention to detail and a positive approach to work.

Hours of work are: Monday to Friday 08:30am-17:00pm.
