Due to continued growth, Wren Kitchens is seeking skilled Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers to join our expanding engineering team at our manufacturing facility in Scunthorpe. Monday - Friday working on a rotating mornings and afternoons shift pattern,

The Role

As part of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring our equipment and production lines operate safely and efficiently while driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities.

* Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.

* Diagnose, fault-find, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery, conveyor systems, equipment and plant.

* Support operational teams in resolving technical equipment issues.

* Work towards a zero-breakdown and zero-stop culture, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

* Monitor maintenance KPIs and take ownership of engineering performance within your area.

* Complete detailed root cause analysis of technical and process issues.

* Support and implement improvements across safety, technology and manufacturing processes.

* Follow up on defects identified during preventative maintenance activities.

* Maintain accurate engineering standards to maximise factory performance and reliability.

* Ensure compliance with all Quality, Health & Safety and site procedures.

What We're Looking For

Mechanical Engineers (£40,500 + Shift Allowence)

* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

* Experience carrying out maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

* Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

* Excellent technical knowledge across mechanical systems.

* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload effectively.

* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.

Electrical Engineers (39,500 - £41,000 + Shift Allowence)

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

* Time-served in an electrically biased engineering role.

* Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

* Strong PLC fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

* Understanding of automated equipment and electrical systems.

* Ability to perform detailed root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.

* Proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational performance.
