Wren Kitchens is continuing to grow, and we're looking for talented Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers to join our expanding engineering team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Barton-upon-Humber. Monday - Friday rotating mornings and afternoons/evenings.

The Role

As part of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance and reliability of production equipment across the factory.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities.

* Respond quickly and professionally to equipment breakdowns.

* Diagnose, fault find, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime.

* Maintain high engineering standards to maximise factory efficiency and reliability.

* Conduct root cause analysis on equipment and process issues.

* Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives across safety, technology and processes.

* Assist specialist contractors with planned and reactive maintenance activities.

* Accurately record maintenance activities using the Shire CMMS system.

* Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and company standards are adhered to at all times.

* Work collaboratively to support the continued success and growth of the business.

What We're Looking For

Mechanical Engineers (39,500 - £43,500)

* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

* Strong mechanical fault-finding and maintenance experience.

* Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.

* Continuous improvement mindset.

Electrical Engineers (£41,500 - £44,500)

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

* 18th Edition qualification (desirable).

* Experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.

* PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting experience.

* Strong electrical maintenance and diagnostic skills.

* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
