Working within a skilled team of technicians, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of Boxer military vehicles and associated sub-assemblies.
Key duties include:
Final assembly of armoured vehicles and sub-assemblies Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical fault finding Vehicle maintenance and repair activities Interpretation of technical drawings and work instructions Diagnosis of hydraulic, pneumatic, and software-related faults Updating work records and documentation using SAP Ordering parts and equipment as required Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping Supporting training and knowledge sharing across the team Working closely with production, engineering, and quality departments About You
To be successful in this role you should have:
Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, or Electrical Fitter Relevant City & Guilds, NVQ, or Electrical qualification Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (desirable) Experience in vehicle assembly, maintenance, or heavy engineering Ability to read and interpret technical documentation Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Understanding of quality, safety, and environmental procedures Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
