Are you an experienced Mechanical Authorised Person with experience safely isolating boilers and pressure systems looking to step off the tools and move into professional training?

In this role, you'll deliver Mechanical Authorised Person training focused on the safe management and isolation of boilers and pressure systems. You'll use your practical experience of planning and carrying out isolations to teach engineers how to safely manage mechanical and pressure systems.

The ideal candidate will have worked as a Mechanical AP or in a position where they have been responsible for safely planning and carrying out isolations on pressure systems. Previous teaching experience is not essential as full trainer development will be provided.

The Role:
*Monday-to-Friday working hours
*Full trainer development provided
*Deliver Mechanical AP training
*Train engineers in the safe management of mechanical and pressure systems
*Deliver training around safe isolation of boilers and pressure systems
*Classroom and practical delivery
*Opportunity to develop across additional technical disciplines
*Primarily based in Livingston
*Regular travel to York when required, including overnight stays
*Fully reimbursed business travel
The Person:
*Mechanical Authorised Person / Mechanical AP background
*Experience with boilers and pressure systems
*Must have experience planning and carrying out pressure-system isolations
*Strong understanding of mechanical safety procedures
*Previous teaching experience advantageous but not essential
*Looking to step off the tools and move into training
*Happy with regular travel and overnight stays
*Commutable to Livingston
