Location: Redditch
Pay: £13.50 – £15.50 per hour, depending on skill level
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler / Welder to join a dynamic manufacturing team based in Redditch.

This hands-on role involves approximately 80% mechanical assembly and 20% welding within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble doors and components mechanically with precision
Perform welding/ fabrication tasks as part of the manufacturing process
Utilise hand and power tools safely and effectively
Interpret and follow production drawings and specifications accurately
Adhere to quality standards and meet production targets
Conduct visual quality inspections throughout the process
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

About You

Experience in mechanical assembly, welding, fabrication or manufacturing
Proficient welding skills
Confident in using hand and power tools
Able to interpret drawings and follow instructions precisely
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, diligent and a proactive team player
Experience with doors, fabrication or metalwork is an advantage
