Job Title: Mechanical Assembler & Installation Supervisor
Location: Coventry, UK
Salary: Up to £44,000 per year + overtime
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Travel: 75% site-based, 25% off-site, including travel around the UK & international

The Company

We’re working with a global engineering leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom-built process plant systems. With a growing pipeline of UK and overseas projects, they’re now seeking a Mechanical Assembler & Installation Supervisorto lead field-based equipment assembly and installation work.

The Role

This is a hands-on position ideally suited to a mechanically skilled individual with experience in assembling process equipment. While you’ll take the lead on-site, the core of the role focuses on the mechanical assembly, integration, and installation of bespoke process skids and associated systems — both in-house and on client sites.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise mechanical installations on customer sites (UK and international)
• Coordinate with in-house engineers to deliver project phases
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and on-site logistics
• Maintain daily records, timesheets, and documentation
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and support QA/snags
• Act as client liaison and company representative on-site

What You’ll Need:

• Strong mechanical background (assembly, piping, fluid systems, etc.)
• Read and interpret pneumatic drawings/diagrams
• Experience supervising site-based installations
• Comfortable with frequent travel
• Full UK driving licence
• SSSTS or equivalent – desirable
• Some electrical knowledge – beneficial
• IT-literate – able to handle documentation and site reporting
