We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Build Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on mechanical professional with a keen eye for detail, working on precision components and assemblies within a tight-tolerance environment.

Mechanical Build Engineer
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and fit small mechanical components and engine parts to exacting standards.
Work confidently with a range of engine components such as pistons, valves, crankshafts, camshafts, and associated mechanical parts.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications, taking concepts through to final build.
Work with tight tolerances and ensure all assemblies meet quality and performance requirements.
Use Jira, Microsoft tools, and other software systems to log and track build data and technical issues.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve challenges and optimise assembly processes.

Mechanical Build Engineer
About You:

Proven hands-on mechanical experience in a fitting, assembly, or build environment.
Comfortable working with small components and precision assemblies.
Worked within a Engineering/Manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of engine parts and their functions within mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Confident working within tight tolerances and quality-focused processes.
Experience using Jira, Microsoft Excel, or other data logging tools.A background in motorcycle maintenance, engine builds, or similar mechanical work would be a distinct advantage.
