Role: Mechanical CAD Designer 

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Day Shifts

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Owen Daniels are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and manufacturing business in Coventry is recruiting for a Mechanical CAD Designer due to growth in the business.

Mechanical CAD Designer:

Assist and develop the design of electro/mechanical rotating equipment.
Create accurate 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings, ideally using SolidWorks, along with supporting engineering calculations and design checks.
Develop practical, cost-effective designs that meet technical, quality, safety, compliance and manufacturing requirements.
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, testing and quality teams.
Investigate design and production issues, recommend improvements, and maintain accurate technical drawings, reports and design documentation.Mechanical CAD Designer:

Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
Experienced in a mechanical design position within a regulated industry. 
Strong proficiency in 3D CAD and technical drawing creation (SolidWorks preferred).
Strong attention to detail and able to resolve design issues.
Ability to work effectively with different engineering teams.
