Your new company One of Northern Ireland's leading Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractors is seeking a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join its growing delivery team. With over 40 years of experience, the company provides design, installation and commissioning services across a diverse portfolio of projects within the healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, residential and industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work secured across Northern Ireland and GB, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and progressive contractor.
Your new role As Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of mechanical packages on a variety of projects, primarily based in Northern Ireland. Key responsibilities include:
Managing mechanical works from pre-construction through to handover Coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Monitoring project progress, costs, programmes and quality standards Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Attending site meetings and liaising with clients and consultants Supporting procurement and programme planning Providing technical input and resolving on-site issues Reporting regularly to senior management on project performanceWhat you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in mechanical contracts management or project management Experience managing mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion Strong commercial awareness, including experience monitoring costs, programme and procurement Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors Excellent communication and organisational skills Proficient IT skills with strong reporting capabilities Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionallyWhat you'll get in return In return, you'll join a highly respected M&E contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across multiple sectors.
