Mechanical Craftsperson Water

Mechanical Craftsperson (Water) - Birmingham - salary to £35k.

You will undertake the water system planned preventive maintenance, testing, breakdown maintenance and other maintenance related activities to the Estate.

You will be knowledgeable of and work to the current regulations, codes of practice, Health & Safety regulations, and all safety rules including HTM04-01, HSG274, ACoP and L8.

Have a knowledge of water systems within a commercial/healthcare environment and maintenance/ testing activities

Have a knowledge of Legionella and other water pathogens

Undertake temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning and disinfection, Tank visual inspections, water samples, calorifier visual inspections, TMV servicing, to name a few

Who are we looking for?

• NVQ or C&G Level 2 Heating/Vent/Plumbing
• Legionella/TMV/Disinfection awareness and training
• Previous experience of working within a health care environment (desirable)

This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
