The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider at a prestigious commercial office site in the heart of Mayfair. This is an ideal role for an experienced engineer looking to advance their career within a professional and supportive environment.

Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and high-quality maintenance of all mechanical systems on-site. Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, your responsibilities will cover both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair tasks across the facility.

Perform daily PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems
Attend and resolve emergency callouts in line with KPIs and SLAs
Maintain all mechanical plant and equipment to high standards
Carry out plumbing, pipework repairs, and minor fabric tasks as needed
Manage tools, materials, and parts required for maintenance activities
Supervise subcontractors and ensure work quality and compliance
Support the Lead Engineer and Account Manager with statutory compliance
Ensure maintenance schedules and operational targets are metRequirements:

Recognised City & Guilds Mechanical Qualification (or equivalent)
Solid experience in mechanical building maintenance within commercial premises
Prior experience in shift-based engineering roles
Willingness to join a 1-in-4 call-out rota
