Day-to-day of the role:

• Design and develop new audio equipment using 3D IT software, primarily focusing on mechanical components.
• Engage in all phases of product development, from concept through design, development, and delivery.
• Utilise Solid Works and PDM to create detailed designs and layouts.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate design concepts and manufacturing processes.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance product design and functionality.
• Manage individual projects and ensure they align with the company’s strategic goals and timelines.
• Continuously research and implement best practices in mechanical design and materials procurement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in using 3D IT software, with a preference for candidates experienced in Solid Works and PDM.
• Strong understanding of the manufacturing process and materials/components supply.
• Ability to work independently in a relaxed management structure that encourages creativity and free-flowing ideas.
• Inquisitive nature, with a keen interest in technology and innovation.
• Desirable skills include familiarity with Photoshop and InDesign.
