Job Description - Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career by joining a leading manufacturer of large industrial equipment?

If so, our client is looking for a mechanically biased Design Engineer to create bespoke designs for their customers’ unique requirements.

Job Description
  • Provide high end, bespoke solutions for customers’ complex requirements
  • Create 2D drawings and 3D models
  • Utilise software such as Inventor to bring concepts to life
  • Utilise your design experience to smoothly integrate electrical and mechanical aspects

Mechanical Design Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Educated to HND level
  • Design experience within an industrial setting, preferably larger/heavier goods
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and floor plans
  • Understanding of sheet metal and steel fabrication processes
