A new opportunity has opened up for a driven and detail-focused Mechanical Design Engineer to join a fast-paced engineering environment. You'll play a key role in the design and delivery of bespoke industrial equipment, working alongside a dedicated team of engineers to develop high-quality solutions from concept through to manufacture and installation.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Creating accurate 2D and 3D models using DraftSight and SolidWorks
• Producing detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, cut lists, and technical documentation
• Managing project timelines, design reviews, and issuing work to the design and production teams
• Liaising with suppliers, monitoring material and component stock, and supporting the procurement process
• Working collaboratively with internal teams and customers to ensure projects are delivered to specification
• Identifying process improvements and supporting accurate quoting and planning through design and build estimates

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in an engineering environment
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, DraftSight, and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong understanding of material selection
• Organised, methodical, and confident working both independently and in a team
• A full UK driving licence is required
• Experience in designing processing equipment is highly desirable
