Location: South London
Salary: £65,000-£72,000 + Package
(Travel Paid, 10% Annual Bonus, 26 Days Annual Leave + More)

I'm currently working with a well-established and growing building services contractor that is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team based in South London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to take ownership of projects, work autonomously, and be part of a business delivering a diverse portfolio of work across London and the South East.

The Role

Working within an experienced design team, you'll be involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of mechanical building services projects from concept through to completion. Projects vary in size and sector, offering excellent exposure and long-term career development.

Typical project sectors include:

* Commercial developments

* CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects

* Infrastructure projects

* Data centres

* Mixed-use developments

* Education and healthcare facilities

The successful candidate will be trusted to manage their own workload, liaise directly with project teams, and produce high-quality mechanical designs with minimal supervision.

Requirements

* Approximately 2-5 years' post-graduate industry experience

* Strong understanding of mechanical building services design

* Experience producing calculations, specifications, and design documentation

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

* Experience using industry-standard design software

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
