Salary: £32,000 - £40,000

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a team of Building Performance Engineering experts in the North West of England. With over 25 years in the industry, developing strong client relationships and career support, this role provides excellent opportunity to develop skills on commercial, industrial, manufacturing, logistics, retail, leisure and residential projects.

The Mechanical Design Engineer selected will be working on:

• Energy modelling and building simulations.
• Completing projects for Part L compliance, CIBSE TM59/52 & AD O Compliance, EPCs, CIBSE TM54 Operational Energy and SAP Assessments
• Report writing.
• Mentoring junior members.
• Liaising with clients.

As a result, to be considered for the role you should be proficient with IES VE, have experience with energy modelling and building simulation and competing projects for Part L compliance. Prior experience with EPCs, CIBSE TM59/52 and over heating analysis is preferable, as well a good understanding of UK building regulations and energy codes. You must live in or near to Manchester and have a full right to work in the UK.
