Essential Requirements / Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering qualification
• Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings and arrangement drawings
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
• Proficient in CAD software, particularly Autodesk Inventor, and familiar with Autodesk Vault or similar drawing management systems
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications, vendor drawings, and ensure compliance with drawing standards
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed and arrangement manufacturing drawings accurately and on schedule
• Check and review drawings produced by others to ensure standards and fitment accuracy
• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models based on inputs from the design team
• Issue drawings using the company’s Vault system and manage documentation effectively
• Interpret vendor and supplier drawings and integrate them into company standards
• Liaise with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure quality and program objectives are met
• Manage project timescales and provide regular progress updates to management
• Support other departments with engineering drawing resources as required
• Promote and uphold company values and work practices aligned with health, safety, and quality standards
