Mechanical Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join there team!

Duties

• Mechanical Engineeris responsible for the first level escalation of breakdowns within the factory.
• Working as part of the shift engineering team ensuring breakdowns are fixed promptly in line with priorities.
• Supporting on electrical breakdowns will be expected.
• Maintain and repair production equipment, with a focus on mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Uphold health and safety standards across all tasks.

Requirements

A successful candidate must have qualification in mechanical engineering. It would be advantageous if they had experience of working in a FMCG environment.

Knowledge of bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyor systems.

Hours: 48 hours per week (Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday) 12 Hour shifts
