Salary: £55,000 - £59,000

Shift: Rotating 8 and 12 Hour Shifts - Days Only

Location: Ashton-in-Makerfield, Lancashire

A very exciting position has just become available for a leading manufacturing and processing business at one of their plants in the Ashton-in-Makerfield for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. The successful mechanical maintenance engineer will be responsible for proactive mechanical maintenance tasks, Overhauling and repairing machinery and also attending critical machine breakdowns. The ideal engineer for this role will come from a mechanical engineering background and have completed a mechanical apprenticeship preferably within a manufacturing environment. In return for the mechanical engineering skill set there is a fantastic salary package on offer with excellent benefits and progression opportunities.
