Randstad Construction & Property is collaborating with a prestigious FM company to find a talented Static Mechanical Engineer to join their team covering a site in Chester. Location: Chester
Salary: up to £44,000, 33 days holliday, On call pay, plenty of OT available, Pool vehicle
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, Static, Shifts (Earlies & Lates) no nights or weekends

• Execute installations, repairs, and planned preventive maintenance (PPMs) on commercial systems
• TMV maintenance
• Working on AC systems and commercial plant
• Diagnose defects, prepare parts lists, and estimate repair timescales
• Participate in the call-out rota for emergency response
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and industry best practices
• Collaborate with the field service team and support internal operational processes
• Deliver outstanding customer service and foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Level 3 in mechanical engineering / plumbing, Level 2 in AC & Refrigeration or similar
• Ideally Plumbing & AC experience
• Experience working in commercial settings
• Additional certifications like Catering, IPAF, PASMA, and OFTEC are advantageous but not required
