You’ll be working with very high-spec UHV products that are unique in the market. This business is going from strength to strength, and due to growth, they continue to grow and invest in their NPD team. Reporting to a fantastic R&D Manager, you’ll be given autonomy to work on your projects from concept to delivery, with support when you need it.

You’ll be responsible for all your designs from beginning to end. NPD, CAD modelling, simulations, spec development, prototyping and establishing test requirements will all be part of your remit. As part of a close-knit team, your voice will very much be heard, and you’ll be able to influence the designs of the future. They are a fast-growing and agile business, and a great bunch of people. The Candidate: Mechanical Design Engineer
The ideal person will be positive and confident in their ability, and will have most of the following skills and experience:

• 3+ Years using 3D CAD software
• Knowledge of vacuum systems or pressurised systems
• Process-driven and self-motivated
• Excellent communication
• Confident in voicing your opinions and ideas, both within the team and to other departments
