They now have a vacancy for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team based at their site in Birmingham. The successful Mechanical Engineer will oversee the mechanical activities for production and projects within the plant.This is a fantastic opportunity offering career progression, the successful Mechanical Engineer will be joining a friendly team and will work in a great environment. Mechanical Engineer Requirements:Proven experience of medium to heavy, industrial mechanical experience.Knowledge and experience with fluid power systems, HP/LP Hydraulics and Pneumatics.Must have completed an apprenticeship and hold a qualification to a minimum of Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ).Ability to read Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic schematic drawings.Self-motivated and can-do attitude.Mechanical Engineer Benefits:Salary is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.Monday to Friday – 7.30am – 4pm.33 days holiday including bank holidays.Salary sacrifice employer contribution pension scheme.Opportunity for progression.On and off-site training provided.
