Their services span full project lifecycles, from design and installation through to maintenance. Covering industries such as energy, utilities, oil & gas, and commercial property. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team. This is a key role responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a diverse portfolio of mechanical projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical projects including HVAC, pipework, and industrial systems Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Conduct take-offs and produce Bills of Quantities Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions Support bid submissions and tender presentations Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams Maintain strong knowledge of market rates, materials, and labour costs Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within building services or industrial sectors Strong understanding of mechanical systems (e.g. HVAC, pipework, pumps, heat systems) Experience working on commercial and/or industrial projects Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Commercial awareness and strong numerical skills Proficiency in estimating software and Excel Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Salary & Benefits Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 (BOE) Bonus: Discretionary performance-related bonus Holiday: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Pension: 4-6% employer contribution Working Pattern: Hybrid working WR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
