This is not a seat-keeping role – the successful candidate will have a real impact on how the commercial function develops, and there are genuine opportunities to progress for the right person. The business is at an interesting stage. They have secured a significant pipeline of work, are actively strengthening their team, and operate with a clarity of purpose around what they are building. For an estimator looking for a role with scope beyond the day-to-day, this is worth a serious look. About the Business Our client is a Liverpool-based M&E contractor delivering mechanical and electrical design and installation services across the North West. Working through directly employed, multi-skilled teams and specialist suppliers, they operate across healthcare, education, commercial, residential, hotel and leisure, retail and custodial sectors. The business has built a strong track record in decarbonisation and energy efficiency, recently securing in excess of £4 million in contracts including a major project with a prominent North West university. Their portfolio includes full design and build packages for NHS medical centres, large-scale auditoriums and university buildings – and their pipeline continues to grow. They have a genuine can-do approach, a select and loyal client base, and a leadership team with a clear view of where the business is going.
