Are you an experienced Mechanical Estimator looking for a new challenge with a forward-thinking building services contractor?

We're working with an established and profitable M&E contractor based in Nottinghamshire, who are looking to expand their commercial team with the appointment of a Mechanical Estimator. This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable and growing company delivering high-quality design & build, fit-out, and refurbishment projects ranging from £100K to £5M.

The Role

As a Mechanical Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical estimates and tender submissions across a range of building services systems, including:

• Heating and ventilation
• Air conditioning
• Hot and cold-water systems
• Gas systems
• Renewable heating solutions
• BMS (Building Management Systems)

You'll be primarily based at the company's office, with occasional site visits (1-2 times per month) for surveys and assessments. You'll play a vital role in developing competitive tenders before handing over to the delivery team.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in mechanical estimating within the building services sector
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and pricing full tender packages
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• No specific estimating software experience required.
