Mechanical Estimator (Steelwork)

CNC Recruitment is seeking Construction Estimator / Purchaser to join our client in Ilminster area. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks on construction sites to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Job Types: Full Time Permanent  

Location: Ilminster area

Working hours: Monday to Friday, day shift – 40 hrs per week [overtime available]

Pay: DOE

Responsibilities:

Pricing works

Developing accurate cost estimates in line with tender documentation and client requirements

Preparing cost plans and design-to-cost budgets

Producing material take-offs from both structural and architectural drawings

Solid understanding of secondary and structural steel techniques
