Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Production Fitter to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in mechanical production, particularly in industries such as glass, conveyor, or food processing equipment. If you are looking for an opportunity to work on large complex equipment from scratch and have a knack for precision and detail, this position might be perfect for you.

• Build large complex equipment from scratch according to detailed engineering drawings and pneumatic diagrams.
• Utilise your mechanical skills in marking out, drilling, tapping, cutting, and more.
• Fit and assemble parts including motors, gearboxes, bearings, and pipe work.
• Ensure machinery is squared and levelled to meet precise operational standards.
• Work effectively under deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
• Travel as needed for onsite installations, including overseas locations.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical production builds.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering and pneumatic diagrams.
• Experience in the glass, conveyor, or food processing equipment industries is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in diverse teams.
