Mechanical Fitter

DCT Recruitment are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitter holding a current CSCS card or NPOS certification preferred, and a full driving licence for our client based in Bootle.

• Ability to work accurately from drawings.
• Competent to work independently or as part of a team.
• Capable of working on bespoke, one-off jobs and unsupervised when required.
• Flexible approach with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
• Strong time management skills, able to meet tight targets and deadlines.

Location: Bootle, Liverpool ( with travel across the North West)
Basic hours: Monday to Thursday: 8.00am – 4.30pm (hours beyond 8 per day paid at time and a half). Friday: 8.00am – 2.30pm (hours beyond 6 per day paid at time and a half).

Overtime available:
Saturday: First 6 hours at time and a half; thereafter double time.
Sunday: All hours paid at double time.
Night shift rate: One third above basic rate for all hours worked.
Holiday entitlement: 25 days per year plus 8 bank holidays.

Salary: Starting from £17 to £19 per hour, dependent on ability (PAYE).
