Mechanical Fitter - Trailer Chassis
Location: Stoke On Trent ( Longton)
Duration: Temp to perm
Day Shift:730am-5pm Mon to Thurs, 730am-12.30pm Fri

Rate: DOE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to work on the chassis of trailers within an engineering/manufacturing environment.

Duties include:
* Mechanical fitting and assembly of trailer chassis
* Building and fitting components to engineering drawings
* Using hand and power tools
* Installing mechanical components, brackets, axles and associated equipment
* Checking completed work to ensure it meets required standards
* General mechanical assembly and fitting duties

The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter
* Experience working on trailer chassis, heavy vehicles or similar equipment
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Good mechanical fitting and assembly skills
* Confident using hand and power tools
* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
