adi Lean Manufacturing and Design Mechanical Fitter About the Role As a Mechanical Fitter, you will work with the current engineering team in bespoke machinery build and development. This will include in-house product assembly & modifications, commissioning, product development and site installations. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include: Mechanical aluminium extrusion frame assembly. Interpretation of mechanical drawings for constructions of machines. Mechanical construction of machinery tools and measuring and validation of assembly. Rework of tooling parts, using milling machine, lathes and workshop tools. Pneumatics and sensors installation of all machine tools. Assembly of robot grippers and installation of robot tooling. Assembly and fitting of production machines. Commissioning / Development of machines alongside the software / electrical engineer. Identifying points of failure on all tooling and machine assemblies. About you We would like to hear from you if you have: Good time keeping and the ability to self-manage tasks in line with a build program. Experience in a similar role within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment. Mechanical fitting and assembly experience. Understanding of Engineering drawings. Experience using of all types of machinery. Mechanical assembly work experience.
