Mechanical Fitter - Water Treatment Project

Fraser Edwards are recruiting on behalf of a leading Water Treatment client for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a long-term installation and remedials contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for consistent, long-term work within the water industry.

The Role

* Mechanical installation, maintenance and remedial works across water treatment sites

* Installation, assembly and modification of mechanical equipment and systems

* Mechanical repairs, maintenance and fault finding

* Working from drawings and technical specifications

* Working safely in accordance with site and client requirements

* Completing works to a high standard and within project timescales

Requirements

* Ideally hold current Thames Water Pass

* Relevant mechanical qualifications / trade experience

* Previous experience within water treatment, utilities, industrial or similar environments preferred

* Strong understanding of mechanical installation, maintenance and remedial works

* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

* Good health & safety awareness

* Reliable, professional and able to work independently

* Own tools and relevant PPE
