That’s where you come in as a Mechanical HVAC Estimator.

Established 40 years ago, this contractor began in refrigeration and developed into a mechanical services specialist delivering heating, ventilation and air conditioning installations. Its projects include commercial Cat A and Cat B fit-outs, full mechanical fit-outs and upgrades to existing systems.

The business is now looking for a Mechanical HVAC Estimator to help turn project enquiries into clear, accurate tenders.

About the role

As Mechanical HVAC Estimator, you will take enquiries through to tender submission, making sure the scope, costs and exclusions are properly understood.

Review drawings and specifications.

Prepare take-offs and cost estimates.

Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotes.

*

Identify scope gaps and tender risks.

*

Price labour, materials and equipment.

*

Prepare clear tender submissions.

*

Support handover to delivery teams.

Your background

You’ll have experience estimating mechanical building services, with a sound understanding of HVAC installations. Commercial fit-out experience would be particularly useful.

Mechanical or HVAC estimating experience.

*

Knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

*

Confidence reading technical drawings.

*

Accurate take-offs and pricing.

*

Clear communication with suppliers and colleagues.
