Mechanical maintenance engineer

• Carrying out mechanical maintenance both reactive and planned on a range of equipment including
  
  AHU's, piped and ducted systems, pumps, pressurisation units, plumbing and pipefitting.
  
  
• The post holder shall have knowledge of L8 requirements both theoretical and practical.
  
  
• Responding in a 'hands-on' capacity to Critical Plant breakdowns and undertaking remedial action in
  
  the field.
  
  
• Completing and recording PPM tasks.
  
  
• Carrying out routine inspections of plant and systems during each shift.
  
  
• Assisting in implementing emergency and contingency procedures as required from time to time.
  
  All team members are expected to work a basic working week based on a shift system which is generally
  
  07:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday with a cyclic late shift of 12:00 to 20:00 and a cyclic Saturday shift of 08:00 to 16:00.
  
  Salary: £33,882
